DRIFT CRUTURE ①
In recent years in Japan, drift culture is mainly held at circuits.
If you saw a video from 10 years ago on YouTube, you would think that you can still watch it on the street today.
In recent years, Take Over has become a social problem in the United States, and many people have been arrested.
In the worst case, you will be arrested if you drift on the streets of Japan.
There are small groups of people drifting in the streets like guerrillas, but it is very difficult to see them.
Depending on the spot, people who are visiting may also be arrested, so be careful.
First of all, I will introduce a circuit that is safe and relatively easy to get to from Tokyo.
・Mobara Twin circuit ( Japanese HP ) course schedule
Mobara Twin Circuit is located in Mobara City, Chiba Prefecture.
The easiest way to get there from Tokyo is to rent a car.
If you can't rent a car, it will take more than 3 hours to get there by public transport.
This circuit is not big, but Drift driving meet (practice meeting) is held frequently.
The circuit also hosts local Drift competitions and D1 GP regional elections.
Most of the races alternate between 1 heat Drift and 1 heat Track. Classes are divided from beginner to advanced, and you can enjoy watching the game.
Admission is free except for major tournaments.
It is a place where public transportation is scarce.
We recommend renting a car or having a Japanese friend take you there.
